Do I have to go to a chiropractor forever once I start?
No, and this is the misconception Dr. Nguyen hears most. You get a plan, normally around two months, with reassessments along the way. When it ends and you are better, you move to maintenance only if you choose to, tapering to once every couple of months or even once a year.
What if I am not improving?
Then the plan changes. Dr. Nguyen will send you for an MRI, refer you for a second opinion, or point you to other services rather than continuing treatment that is not working. Reassessments exist precisely to catch this.
Is spinal decompression the same as an inversion table?
No. The DRX9000 is computer controlled, calculates the pull from your body weight, targets the specific disc level, and cycles the force so muscles relax. An inversion table just hangs you upside down and stretches everything at once.
Does getting adjusted hurt?
Most adjustments are not painful, and the technique is matched to your condition and comfort. For injured patients we use the ProAdjuster SRT instrument, which mobilizes precisely with no twisting.
Do you take x-rays on everyone?
If you arrive without recent imaging of the problem area, yes, in-house digital x-rays are part of the workup, because finding the root cause beats guessing at it. If you have an MRI or x-rays already, bring them.
What does the first visit cost?
The $47 new patient special covers the consultation, discovery session, comprehensive exam, and digital x-rays. Accident cases typically run under a letter of protection instead.
Do you treat car accident injuries?
Extensively. It is one of the three services this practice is built on, with in-house x-rays, CRMA injury documentation, staged care, and letter of protection billing.
Can you help me if I need surgery?
If your case truly needs surgery or any care outside this office, Dr. Nguyen will tell you and refer you properly. The practice grows on honest answers, not on keeping the wrong patients.
